Today is all about my mom, Cathy Greenway. You see today is my 34th birthday and without her I wouldn't be on this earth. My mom is the strongest person I know. When I was 8 years old my mom moved to Georgia from Iowa with two small children. I can't even imagine how scary that was for her as a single parent.
I am the person that I am today because of her. She made Shane and I her top priority and I think (if I do say so myself) she did a fantastic job raising us. She was a wonderful example of what a good mother should look like. So today I say thank you mama for giving me life!!!!

God blessed me 34 years ago today. He held my hand as I gave you roots and He gave me His shoulder when you got your wings your wings. You are without a doubt the best daughter a mother could have! It has always been a joy and to watch you grow and become the beautiful person you are today.
I always wondered why God put me on this Earth...the reasons are simple.....you and your brother!
I am eternally thankful and humbled by His trust. On a much lighter note.......

you have the exact same courageous spirit as your mom! having your first child in Germany?? with no family to help?? she definitely instilled her courage and independence in you, which by the way i greatly admire! thank you cathy, you excel as a mom and a grandma!!
