A Good Story.....

Many of you have already heard the cliff note version of this story but here it is in full. Darren and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary yesterday. Well, Jessica came and got the kids after she got off work so we could have the night to ourselves. We were both craving pizza so we decided on Mellow Mushroom.
We got there and it was packed, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. So we went to the bar and ordered a drink. As it got close to the 30 min we started trying to figure out where they were going to seat us. We saw that the table right behind the hostess stand (the first table you see when you walk in) was about to be cleared. We both made the comment that we didn't want that table.
Well, sure enough our little buzzer thingy went off and they put us at the very table we didn't want. Oh well, nothing is going to ruin this night we thought. As we sat down we tried to pull the table back a little from the hostess stand. The owner saw us doing this and came over to the table to talk to us. She apologized for the table and commented that her parents were also eating there but were having to eat in the office b/c they were so busy. Darren told her it was our anniversary and she congratulated us and moved on. About 15 minutes later as we were eating our appetizers (5 wings and bruschetta) an old man came up to the table and said congrats on your marriage and wished us many more. Aww how sweet is that!!! Come to find out the old man was the owners dad.
At this point we were enjoying ourselves and really weren't affected by the table placement. But, the owner came over and said she had another booth open and asked if we wanted it. I said no we are fine and she said come on it's your 15 yr anniversary, lets go. So we picked up our drinks and moved. We got our pizza about 10 minutes later, a large Hawaiian, YUM!!!
We finished our pizza and drinks and told our waiter we were ready for the check. He came back and handed Darren a business card from the owner's dad and the card read:
Congratulations, Hope you have many many more and enjoy your evening. Wayne Lowe
Mr. Lowe had paid for our entire meal and took care of the tip as well.... wow we figured it up and our bill would have been about $70. What a BLESSING!!! You don't meet any truly generous people anymore but he was!!!

You two still look as young, happy and in love as you did on your wedding day..I couldn't have asked for a more perfect daughter or son-in-law! May God continue to bless you and fill you with His spirit so that you may enjoy many more special days. Hopefully one day you will be able to pass this on to another young couple out having an anniversary meal together.
