I know it's been a long time since I've blogged. I have no reason for not blogging I just haven't. I have really missed it though. I thought I would make my come back with a recipe. This is a my go to recipe during busy weeks b/c I can make it ahead of time or if I have to feed another family. (My friend Kim Speer made this for me when I had knee surgery and it is her recipe.)
Cast Of Characters:
assemble
Baked Ziti
*1 lb dry ziti pasta
*1 onion, chopped
*1 lb ground beef ,brown & drain
* 2 26oz cans spaghetti sauce (we like hunt's but they didn't have it)
*6 oz sliced provolone cheese
* 1 1/2 cups sour cream
* 6 oz shredded mozzarella cheese*2 T grated parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Brown meat & onion. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9 x 13 pan.
Layers as follows: 1/2 of the ziti, provolone,sour cream, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella, remaining sauce mixture. Top with grated parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.

welcome back!! i have missed you so much!! can't wait to make that recipe. yummy! by the way, i found the coolest site from blogger where you can print your blog, scrapbook form. it is blog2print.com. check it out...you can do it by dates, so that you have 2009, 2010, etc. the prices are very reasonable too! maybe this will get you blogging again...you can print it and keep it on your coffee table!! love you!!

I believe that this is the same pan that you used to bring this really wonderful dish to Florida over Memorial Day weekend. It fed us for (2) days and was scrumtious both times.
I also thank you for the recipe...I will use this for large gatherings! You may even eat mine one day!
Take this with you when you and the Hills go to our Florida home over Labor Day!
