History was made yesterday and it is truly amazing that 43 years ago blacks weren't even allowed to vote.
No, my guy didn't win but we need to respect the fact that Obama will be our President. We are the United States of America and we need to stay UNITED!!
I woke up this morning bummed out and I was driving home for taking the girls to school and heard a song on the radio that made me smile. Things didn't turn out the way I wanted them to but we need to rejoice that the lord gave us another day.

Rejoice in the fact that you still live in the best country in the world. Rejoice in the fact that our Lord is our King and our trust is in Him! Yes, history was made and yes we are in the United States. Lets pray that all Americans put aside personal feelings and get behind our new president, after all the country as a whole has made its choice and we need to rally around our new country leader and give him the chance that we all would want. Time will tell but in the end it doesn't matter, as this time too shall pass and one day we will reside in a perfect place for eternity! God bless us all and God bless America!
