Amanda, Me, Jessica and AlisonWe spent 5 days in Dublin with Darren's family for Thanksgiving. We go every year and we have the best time. We spend the week cooking, eating what we cook, laughing until our sides hurt, staying up late playing cards and the girls run around like crazy with their cousins! We don't get to see them that much so when they get together they are inseparable.
When we got there we were standing around the kitchen talking and the kids were all playing in the other room, everything was off to a great start and then you hear that dreaded sound.....someone crying. Riley came running in the kitchen with her hand on her head and she was crying. This wasn't your ordinary cry - this was a serious cry. I ran to her and said let me see and when she pulled her hand away from her head blood just started running down the side of her face. Her cousin had hit her in the head (he was playing) with a stuffed animal that had a battery pack(but he didn't realize that it had the battery pack thingy) in the back of it and it just cut her head open. So 1 1/2 hours after we got there we were off to the emergency room. We spent 3 hours there... What a way to start your week of vacation! I'm happy to say that was the only incident the whole 5 days.

Update: All is better and the staple removal went off without a hitch!

You better tell Uncle Craig to watch his finger...it looks like "Big Daddy" might slice it off! :-)
So sorry about Riley! She looks pitiful in that first picture!
Except for the ER visit, it looks like you had a great time with loved ones! A perfect Thanksgiving!
