Last week was a very busy week in the Greene household...... it started with Riley's award ceremony for all A's . Riley is such a smart little girl and we are so very proud of her. This is Riley with one of her best friends Anna Page Gray.
Then the next day was Reagan's end of the year program and she was such a big girl. As we watched the program I had to fight back the tears because my baby will be a first grader next year, it just doesn't seem right.
The girls are both thrilled to be out of school! Reagan has told me everyday since she got out of school that "SUMMER IS ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN", so now my mission in life or at least this summer is to make their summer as fun as possible.
We went back to Georgia for the weekend and we called it
TOUR DE GEORGIA. We started it off in Dublin, Georgia for Corey's (Darren's nephew) graduation. This was truly a special night as the doctors said Corey would never graduate because he has Cerable Palsy. He has overcome many hurdles in life and he proved them wrong and graduated with a 3.8 GPA... WOW!!!! Way to go Corey! We love you very much.
We left Dublin and went to Milledgeville , Georgia to visit Darren's cousin and my dear friend Jessica and her husband Brad. We hung out at the lake all day at their outdoor kitchen and ate everything in sight! The girls swam and went on a boat ride. We all had a wonderful time! I wish we lived closer to them!
A huge storm came through and we all got drenched .... Darren's shirt .... :)
The next day we went to Social Circle, Georgia for Darren's brother Johnny's 40th birthday party. ( I don't have a picture of the birthday boy : )It was at his in-laws house and his wife Christie outdid herself! The kids swam and the guys played horseshoes everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Happy Birthday Johnny we love you!!! Riley is in her element when she is in the pool, and Reagan is sitting on the steps freezing with Presley. ( Darren's best friend's little girl)
